Dive into daring descents and climb with confidence aboard the TREK 2023 Fuel EX 9.8 XT Gen 6. This trail-blazing machine pioneers the melding of a light and harmonious ride with meticulously upgraded parts that are built for heavy-duty cycling. Boasting 150 mm of front and 140 mm rear FOX Performance suspension, it makes daunting trails feel like blissful strolls. The Shimano XT drivetrain offers precision shifting geared up for power on demanding descents and respite on exhaustive ascents.

If you're seeking an adrenaline-charged adventure that combines long, technical descents with pedal-powered efforts back to the pinnacle, this is the machine for you. The vibration-damping, benefits of the carbon frame, complete with carbon wheels, plus upgraded suspension, smooth your course, making every ride a pleasure, no matter the terrain.

The 2023 Fuel EX 9.8 XT Gen 6 frames the epitome of years of trail-riding proficiency. It presents a longer front-end geometry to conquer steep descents and a steeper seat tube for comfort during climbs. Premium components such as upgraded suspension, carbon wheels, and a Shimano XT drivetrain creates a bike that boasts both beauty and beastlike capabilities.

Moreover, with six different geometry configurations, facilitated by the adjustable angle headset (angled cups sold separately) and Mino Link, you can customise the setup. Plus, ensure better fitting with our extended size range and size-specific wheels.

Additional features include:

  • Internal Storage: Carry your essentials with ease thanks to the internal frame storage.
  • Active Braking Pivot: Our engineers precisely adjust how the suspension responds to acceleration and braking forces, ensuring reliable control when it matters most.
  • Slack or steep, the choice is yours: Install angle-adjust headset cups (sold separately) to alter the 64.5-degree head tube angle a degree steeper or slacker according to your preference.
  • Adjust the Susp for Full Send: Easily modify the leverage rate with the flip of a chip. Less progressive setting for a plusher feel, ideal for rugged trails with square-edge bumps, and More progressive for tuning into sizeable features or coil shock runs.
  • Size-specific stays: Ensures balanced handling for enhanced front wheel traction on climbs.

Nimble rides meet speed with TREK's pioneering design where 27.5? wheels merge with the speed of a 29er. The Fuel EX is mullet-ready; just activate Mino Link into high gear, switch on a 160 mm fork, and let the good times ride!
