With the Women's Diverge Sport, you'll be prepared for anything the road throws at you. From smooth tarmac to rough tracks, this bike is packed with all the latest technologies. The emphasis is on reliable performance, not flashy components.The Diverge has been designed to be more capable than ever before. We listened to your feedback and made sure that tyre clearance was a top priority. The new frame can comfortably fit up to 700x42mm (or 650b x 47mm) tyres, with plenty of room for mud too. Weight was also a key consideration, and we used design cues from the Roubaix to create one of the lightest FACT 9r carbon frames in its category.Instead of a traditional 'cross geometry, we opted for our innovative Open Road Geometry. It's like a road version of modern trail bike geometry, providing playful handling and predictable steering. The bottom bracket is over a half-centimetre lower than the previous Diverge, giving a slacker head tube angle, short chainstays, and a short wheelbase. These changes make the Diverge a fun bike to ride on dirt, as well as performing well on the road.Riding on gravel and dirt roads can be adventurous, but wider tyres can only do so much to absorb bumps. That's why we included a new version of our Future Shock in the Diverge design. It not only soaks up bumps, but also ensures extremely predictable handling. The wheelbase doesn't lengthen when you hit a bump, keeping the same effective head tube angle. This means you won't be surprised by under-steer or sloppy handling when diving hard into a turn. The Diverge's Future Shock features a progressive spring, making it suitable for off-road use, where stiffer suspension is often required.As a versatile bike, the Diverge comes with three water bottle mounts, as well as mounts for racks and fenders. The spec includes a Shimano 105 groupset, hydraulic disc brakes, and a DT R470 Disc wheelset. Every aspect of the bike has been tailored specifically for women, from the handlebar width to the crankarm length to the renowned Myth Sport saddle.
