It has all the qualities you'd expect from an XC race bike - lightweight, stiff, and with a race-oriented geometry. Plus, it features one-by gearing, making it even more performance-focused.Unlike traditional welding methods, where tube-to-cylinder connections are left up to the skill of the welder, the Chisel Comp uses D'Aluisio welding. This moves the joint away from the highest stress area, resulting in a lighter, stiffer, and stronger frame. This means you'll be able to power up climbs and shred singletrack without the weight of an alloy bike holding you back.The Chisel also includes our XC geometry, which combines elements of our previous XC race bikes with trail DNA. This gives you a longer top tube, shorter head tube, and a more relaxed front-end, providing increased stability and a better fit. And don't worry, this doesn't compromise its climbing ability.The build of the Chisel Comp includes a Shimano SLX one-by setup for easy use and a wide range of gears. It also features powerful MT500 Deore hydraulic disc brakes, the renowned RockShox Judy fork with up to 100mm of travel (size-specific), and 25mm-wide alloy wheels optimized for weight and traction.
