The concept of a perfect road is a myth, as there is always some imperfection like a chip, crack, or rough patch. However, with the Specialized Roubaix with hydraulic disc brakes, you can effortlessly navigate any type of asphalt. This is the ultimate road bike experience. The frame of the Roubaix is made using Specialized's FACT 10r carbon fiber, making it incredibly lightweight and stiff. Compared to previous models, the new Roubaix has a faster and more efficient geometry. Despite these changes, the fit, feel, and position remain consistent across all sizes thanks to Specialized's Rider-First Engineered construction. Now, let's talk about the suspension. Specialized calls it Future Shock, which is essentially a piston in the head tube with 20mm of travel. Developed in partnership with McLaren Applied Technologies, this technology drastically improves vertical compliance, resulting in a smoother, faster, and more comfortable ride. In fact, the Roubaix outperforms all other bikes tested with Specialized's Rolling Efficiency Model.Choose the Specialized Roubaix with hydraulic disc brakes for the ultimate road cycling experience.
