Experience the thrill of the trails with the 2019 Stumpjumper Comp Carbon 27.5, by Specialized. With the very same emergent 11m carbon chassis as its more expensive counterpart, you can enjoy top-tier performance without breaking the bank.

Creating the perfect trail bike was our mission, and the key to achieving this was in maximising stiffness. Through cutting-edge mountain-specific stiffness testing and extensive Finite Element Analysis (FEA), we were able to create a frame design that is 20% more efficient, while being exceptionally lightweight.

The radical new sidearm design connects the front and rear ends at three points. The frame has been engineered to minimise flex when the rear suspension is active, staying super stiff. This design innovation has allowed us to take about 100 grams out of the rear end, while enhancing its overall performance.

Ensuring that the suspension is perfectly adapted to every rider, we’ve developed a custom Rx Trail Tune for both the fork and rear shock. Regardless of your frame, wheel or rider size, you can fine-tune your ride using the Rx Tune to suit your preference and enhance the linear suspension feel.

The bike is not just about exceptional performance, it’s also designed with practicality in mind. We’ve brought back threaded bottom brackets, created space for up to a 3.0" tyre, and made sure you can run any aftermarket rear shock you want because we're using standard metric shocks. The revamped and sleeker SWAT box adds to the convenient features of the bike, providing more volume.

Adding to the practical appeal is the inclusion of a Flip Chip, enabling you to tailor your Stumpy riding experience. Furthermore, the novel ribbed chainstay protector effectively eliminates chain slap and keeps your drivetrain running noiselessly.

Alongside convenience, this bike also ticks the box for easy maintenance. Thanks to full tubes found throughout the carbon frame, cable routing has never been easier. Simply push the cable in at one end and it comes out the other-- no more complex cable managing tasks.

The 2019 Stumpjumper Comp model is rounded off with high-quality components. With a Shimano SLX drivetrain featuring RaceFace cranks, Shimano SLX disc brakes, FOX suspension on both ends, and Roval Traverse 27.5 wheels, you don't have to compromise on quality for affordability. So embrace your adventurous side and conquer the trails with the 2019 Stumpjumper Comp Carbon 27.5 by Specialized.
