The Roval Traverse Fattie 650b 148 is a trail-centred wheelset developed by Specialized, designed to deliver unequaled performance on demanding descents and on challenging climbs. Constructed from lightweight and durable materials, it retains excellent strength without compromising your ride's efficiency.

The key innovation in the Roval Traverse Fattie 650b is its large 29mm internal rim width, which offers several performance enhancements. It provides improved tyre support, increased grip and confidence, and allows for lower pressures. It also makes your bike more resistant to impact damage. Combined with the responsive 650b platform, you get an impressively rigid wheelset that accelerates quickly, climbs with tenacity and shreds descents.

Specialized's Zero Bead hook design aids in preventing "burps" during hard cornering and helps in quick and easy tubeless set-up. The rims are hand-laced to our own alloy hubs with 24 (front) and 29 (rear) DT Swiss Revolution spokes and Pro Lock nipples. Inside, you'll find sealed cartridge bearings and DT Swiss 360 internals for smooth rolling and reliability.

Boost spacing (110/148) is featured in this variant, offering benefits like compound stiffness, strength, durability, and minor weight advantages. With a SRAM XD driver 11-speed freehub and a tubeless valve stem included, tubeless set-up is made even more convenient.
