Experience the thrill of cycling like never before with the robust and reliable HX 1700 wheel from the revered brand, DT Swiss. This wheel is thoughtfully engineered to cater to the demands of vigorous E-MTB usage.

  • With the increased weight and higher torque found in E-MTBs, riders are met with the unique challenge of finding a truly durable wheel for long term use. Enter the HX 1700--a veritable game changer in the realm of hybrid wheels.
  • Built around custom DT 350 hubs, renowned for their dependability, the HX 1700's feature E-MTB optimised 24-tooth ratchets and outsized hub shells, primed for improved load transfer. It's the epitome of solid engineering.
  • The welded alloy rims boost spoke bed reinforcement, effectively resisting fatigue and managing high loads over extended periods of time -- perfect for those marathons on the trail.
  • The unique chassis employs straight pull spokes, tailored specifically for Hybrid application, featuring an enlarged 2.35mm hub interface, designed to safeguard key stress points on any wheel.
  • For a wheel to earn its Hybrid certification from DT, it must surpass stringent thresholds: It must survive 50% more lifecycles, its spokes and rims must withstand 20% higher load tests, and the bearings must be able to manage almost twice the maximum load of a standard wheel.
  • Given their durability, the Hybrid range, which includes the HX 1700, proves ideal for larger riders, bike packers, or anyone in pursuit of a sturdy wheelset with a high weight limit.
  • The HX 1700 boasts a 30mm internal width, thereby supporting modern high volume trail tyres with aplomb.
  • The HX 1700 wheels even come with DT's tubeless rim tape and valves included, ensuring seamless and convenient setup.
  • Lastly, the system has an impressive weight limit of 150KG, confidently accommodating riders of diverse sizes.

Upgrade to the HX 1700 wheel by DT Swiss and experience the difference in your performance and enjoyment on the trail.
